Janessa Eldaye, also known as 'Jay' or 'Trailing' is a 2D rough and clean-up animator with a passion for fantastical worlds and unique story ideas. They also are an story and visual development artist proficient in character, prop, and color design. Usually, their free time from working is also drawing, just their original project work instead.

Janessa was born and raised in Niskayuna, New York, and in their free time listen to music and write their story ideas inspired by the songs and colors they see due to their Synesthesia.   They go through the animation production pipeline from visual development to final animation for their ideas and use their skills to help others on their projects. The interest in animation wasn't a question for them because Janessa saw it as the strongest way to make their work come to life, and did not worry they couldn't learn the skill.

Currently, Janessa is working as a rough and cleanup animator with Kappapon Studios, and volunteering additional help with NuBoom and  LuvLetter Studios in rough and cleanup animation.
