Hi, I'm Janessa Eldaye (or Jay for short) and I'm a senior at Savannah College of Art and Design majoring in 2D Animation and minoring in Sequential Art and Story and Visual Development! I mainly do story work in both my own projects or collaborative ones, character/creature design, and 2D animation!  I'm interested in anything that has creativity. Currently I am creative director on my senior capstone film "Dog Of the Samurai", helping in each department.

I was born and raised in Niskayuna, New York, where I listened to music and saw colors and full ideas come to life.  When I learned this was not the norm, I cultivated this skill to help my creative process from getting a story idea from a song, writing out the plot and timing, designing the characters, making colorful illustrations and color scripts for the project, and eventually animation.  The interest in animation wasn't a question for me because I saw it as the strongest way to make my work come to life, and I had no worry I couldn't learn the skill.  My goal is to make unique creative stories that can be mature and reach all ages.
